  9. Purpose of QRes
  10.  
  11. QRes provides automation for the Microsoft QuickRes screen mode 
  12. change in Windows 95. With QRes you can automatically switch color 
  13. mode or screen resolution when you start a Windows application.
  14. Optionally QRes will restore the original screen mode when the
  15. program finishes.

  17. QRes is designed to be used with Windows games and other programs 
  18. that run best on lower screen resolutions and/or in 256 color mode.

  22. Installation

  24. Run qres0300.exe to install QRes. This self-extracting executable 
  25. will extract files to the Windows temporary directory. All temporary
  26. files will be removed after successful installation (some files may
  27. remain if the installation is aborted). 
  28. The setup program includes an automatic uninstaller.

  33. QRes is freeware. You may freely use and distribute it as long as 
  34. you distribute the complete package.
